Pride in our environment
School Grounds & Facilities
Mayfield school is well resourced. We have 40 networked computers and a pod of 20 laptops in the school which the children use for curriculum projects and computer skills training.
All classrooms are equipped with wide-screen TVs.
The school library has over 5500 books and is a tribute to the working committee who worked through the merger of Westerfield and Lismore schools. The library is open during the lunch period for children to issue books and soak up the literary atmosphere.
We have three playgrounds for the children to play on, the most recent of which was generously donated to the school by a past pupil, Mr Harold Oakley.
In 2018 the school constructed a bike track and an outside nature garden. It also has leased land, which is being farmed, for the purpose of fundraising. We also hope to use this to create educational opportunities for our children.
